With a large parking lot right next door and space to park bikes in front, Het Herenhuis is an easy, enjoyable place to linger and return to.

Great place close to the Windmill museum. Very pleasant, easy access and parking, everything we ordered was really tasty (french soup superb), prices lower than I expected for the area.

We came for lunch without any reservations and they were full but thank goodness they were so kind to give us a table. After we sat down comfortably, I saw the waiter shuffling the tables around making changes to the floor plan and tables that were already nicely set. Thank you! Lunch was so good, I am so glad we ordered many different things on the menu to try. I strongly recommend their sweet potato fries with truffle sauce and their big jac burger with homemade spicy sauce! There is free parking right next to the restaurant very convenient especially when it’s not exactly easy to find parking around the neighbourhood.

Perfect location, with good food and lovely staff. We went here with our friends from the UK with two kids. The team gave us a beautiful table and immediately arranged a high chair for the baby. The portions were also good for their price. We will return and recommend this restaurant, especially for those coming from Zaanse Schans, for lunch or dinner.

We used the outside bnb room nr 3. It was slightly chilly but the provided heater eventually warmed it up. The tv had some lines in the image but the view over the polder grassland is compensation enough. The staff was friendly and helpful eventhough we had some extra requests. The beds are medium soft and comfortable. In-room toilet and bathroom were nice. It was a fair price. The restaurant had great charm and again friendly staff. We enjoyed some drinks but had no time to sample the food.
